Professional training and resources available to our clinical team members includes: 

Free Continued Education Units (CEUs)

Stay current on the most recent literature and connect and learn from other Team Members and leaders in the field, all while earning CEUs to maintain certification. Trumpet offers opportunities to earn Type 2 BACB CEUs through attendance and participation in monthly TBH Journal Club discussions.

Access to the Published Literature

Interested in learning more about an area in ABA but do not have access to literature search programs? Trumpet offers an online form to request research literature. Once the form is completed, the research manager contacts the person requesting materials with the specific journal article, the literature review results related to the request, or a contact person from the research lab who will further assist with your literature review. 

Professional Development Funds

Participate in seminars, conferences, or courses to obtain Continuing Education Units (CEUs) annually with financial support from TBH. Professional Development funds are set aside for each consulting Team Member who wants to further their knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis.

BCBA/BCaBA Supervision

Are you completing BCBA/BCaBA course work, or have completed course work and still need to accrue Supervised Independent Fieldwork hours? Trumpet Team Members who have worked for the company for at least 6 months and complete a minimum of 10 work hours a week may pursue those hours with us by a contract for supervision with one of our BCBAs and committing to continued employment with us.

BCBA/BCaBA Coursework Reimbursement

Interested in receiving online instruction to prepare for Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA, BCaBA)? TBH offers forgivable loans of $500 per course for your enrollment at a program such as The Florida Institute of Technology online course sequence (our preferred provider) or another course sequence of your choosing. Team Members who have worked for the company for at least 6 months and complete a minimum of 10 work hours a week may apply for this funding which has a commitment for continued employment to forgive the loan.

Masters Degree Funding

Are you interested in furthering your education and pursuing a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis? Upon admittance to a Masters program, apply for a TBH forgivable loan of up to $2,000/term for 5 terms. Team Members who have worked for the company for at least 6 months with good performance evaluations and who complete a minimum of 10 work hours a week may apply for the funding, which includes a commitment for continued employment.

Support in Thesis or Project Development

Are you interested in developing your own research project or thesis? The TBH Research Review Committee (RCC), our internal version of an Institutional Review Board, may be able to provide you the support and guidance you need. Our RRC consists of our Executive Team, Research Manager, an additional BCBA, and an external member who is a University faculty member with extensive experience in human subjects protections. The RRC is tasked with ensuring that all research conducted at Trumpet or AutismPro is consistent with our mission and values and includes appropriate and meaningful protections for our consumers. The RRC meets 3-5 times per year to review proposed research projects and progress on ongoing approved projects.
